What We Do
Pachamay is an art therapy movement that promotes emotional well-being through various disciplines and artistic activities. Its main goal is to use the creative process of art to improve the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of individuals. Art is used as a powerful tool for self-expression, emotional release, stress and anxiety reduction, enhancing creativity, imagination, self-confidence, security, and self-esteem, thereby strengthening the link between art and emotional health.
We combine the magic of nature with technology to create unique experiences in each of our activities, offering a journey between the ancestral and the modern, as represented in our logo.
Mayte Fernández, founder and creator of this movement, is a creative publicist and daughter of an artist specialized in oil painting. With over 13 years of experience in event production, Mayte has worked closely with community aid organizations and on topics of emotional health. From there, her idea of linking art with emotional health to promote personal growth was born. Activities such as painting, dancing, meditating, decorating, writing, and creating are effective ways to release emotions, connect with ourselves, and maintain balanced emotional well-being.
